Kind of makes me want to write a little emo story...
Somehow I started thinking about my own dreams. Sometimes it seems to me that I'm not going to accomplish them. And then I realized that I never said to myself: "You'll make it, one way or the other." And now, I kind of did say that to myself, and that really made me trust myself and my own capabilities.
Plus, you're an inspiring person to me. Coming from the Netherlands, chasing your ambitions and now working for ILM in Singapore, of all places.
I sometimes find motivation and the drive I need, in the life stories of others. And I just wanted to say you're one of them. Thanks and keep it up!
Now I'm off working on my own portfolio site, to hopefully land an Internship in the USA!
Always aim for your dreams and think about them in realistic terms. If you want something bad enough you can achieve it! Hard work pays off. I know cheesy replies but its the truth!
Also I worked in the States for a while and lived there for 2,5 years. Its tricky to get a work visa and I can recommend getting work experience outside the states before moving there. It will make your life A LOT easier! Good luck!
