And when he looked uppon the sight of destruction, he realised there was no reason anymore. Going home, away from this all, his biggest wish.

I always wanted to do such a matte painting. I think, when I finally got the sketch I was pleased with, the matte came out great. The piece touches me and gets me thinking. But maybe that is just me.. what do you think about the war?

Just wow... I did 3 tours and when I saw this.... everything just came gushing back, for lack of better words. You're are is just, well amazing. My apartment's walls would be covered with your stuff if it could.

He's home safely now, thank-you. Great art work should evoke emotions like that in people. That's what sets it apart from paintings that are just mimicry.

Well, hopefully you don't mind a comment out of the blue on an older work; but I had to comment on this piece. I saw it featured on another deviant's favorites and it caught my eye. It is absolutely stunning. I'm impressed and in awe of your work here. Very very nicely done.
