Nowhere Warm,
The sky is lit up.
Day will be richer than night.
So dont think of yesterday.
Its here and now.

Concept painting for this piece: [link]

This was one of my finals for my first term at Gnomon School of Visual Effects. The piece is completely redone in 3d and 2,5d matte painting. I modelled the buildings and mountains and textured them. The trees are paint effects in maya and the sun is done in AE. To complete the project I made a camera move which I will upload to my site soon.

I hope you guys like it!

i think the lighting on the tower looks a little bit 'bevel and emboss'

other than that i like it
