I think I enjoy this work the most out of the 3. The city on the mountain is fantastic. Even if only some of the buildings in the town below are slanted slightly, it doesn't detract from the picture, but adds a sense of those who live there are poorer than those who live on the mountain.
A book from the book series, Myst, seemed to spring in my mind when I tied the person on the animal into the picture. Shame I forgot the book's name.
Anyway, your futuristic touch fits well into the environmental setting. I can't explain why, but it just works...
If anything, maybe more of those grey mists (maybe a little lighter?) above the lone person on the animal. Possibly more of the mist higher up on the mountain to better fill up the right and so you get that early-morning rolling mist.
I know asking is dangerous, but a follow-up of this painting (maybe from a different angle...?) would be extraordinary. You could do much with this, really. Much more. Besides, you do an awesome job anyway.
haha I know what youre saying.. I dont know why but thats my painting style I just cant paint as loose as a lot of artists do.. even when I sketch quickly I always sketch in bigger refined forms Thanks dude
