Tomorrow I'll be off for a week to finally celebrate a little vacation time! It's been 3 months since I took a day off and without having weekends too I can really use this little holiday. The plan is to go to New York for a week and chill out and see the city.

So, I have never been there before, anyone has any good tips of stuff I CAN'T miss?! I would appreciate it since I've got no clue where to go in suchs a big town haha! I appreciate your help.

Also I just came back from the movie Moon. I defenately recommend it as it was a great surprising film with a very good story. Although it was a low budget movie the effects were decent and fitted the mood quite perfectly. Great acting makes this a complete package. If you have the time and money go see it! You wont be dissapointed.

Also on other great news; next week will probably bring some great info about a project I've been working on for the past 6 months. It regards the latest video clip from director Sil van der Woerd (www.silvanderwoerd.com) produced by Gnomon. I'll keep you guys posted for some great eyecandy and ofcourse monitor Gnomon's site and that from Sil.

Have a good one and don't forget; wake up and live like it will be your last!

Peace

For Staten Island, there's the mall... and that's pretty much it.

In Manhattan - Visit Chinatown and try out some authentic chinese cuisine and look for cheap goods, though their legitimacy might be questionable. Also, look into Little Italy for Italian Food and Soho for shopping, which are neighbors to chinatown so you can visit all three in one go.

Hit up the regular tourism spots like central park, times square, and the statue of liberty, and also herald square for the empire state building

I'd suggest you rent a bike and ride across to the middle of the Brooklyn bridge during sunset, it's gorgeous.

Also, I'd suggest watching a broadway show or two. Some that I particularly liked were Wicked, Avenue Q, and In the heights.

Other Boroughs:
Brooklyn - Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and maybe a bike ride alongside New York Bay in Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights

Queens - I'm not too familiar with it, =Druology would know more.
Bronx and Staten Island - Not too familiar with these either.
